1. The Drone (Unmanned Aircraft System - UAS):

  • Agricultural Drone: This is the core of your operation. Look for drones specifically designed for agricultural spraying, as they have features like:
    • Payload Capacity: The amount of liquid (pesticide, herbicide, fertilizer) the drone can carry. This is measured in liters (L) or gallons.  
    • Spray System: This includes the tank, pump, nozzles, and spray boom.   
    • Flight Time: How long the drone can stay airborne on a single battery charge.
    • Spray Width/Swath: The width of the area covered by the spray during each pass.   
    • GPS and Flight Control: Accurate GPS and flight control systems are crucial for precise application.   
    • Obstacle Avoidance: Sensors that help the drone avoid collisions with obstacles.   
  • Popular Brands/Models: DJI Agras series (T10, T20P, T30, T40, T50), XAG, and other specialized agricultural drone manufacturers.   

2. Spraying System:

  • Tank: Holds the liquid to be sprayed.
